We have an emergency clothing and household goods bank in our building where we have a variety of items, depending on the nature of donations. Our clothing bank usually has a little something for everybody - men, women, children, big and small, formal and informal. Donations come in on a regular basis, so our clothing bank is always full. In addition to being open on a regular basis (business hours), two or three times a year we open up the center on a Saturday and bring up all of our clothing for that season and have a big "rummage sale" so to speak, where clients come in and go around to all the tables and take whatever they need or want. This helps us move stuff out so that we will have room for more!
Also, we have a variety of household goods - bedding sheets and blankets, cookware, dishes, kitchen utensils, and more! If somebody has been burned out of their home or has fled a domestic violence situation, this is the perfect place to start when obtaining essential tools for living.
