 As a supplement to other food banks in our community, we have our own emergency food bank pantry to serve those who cannot access other food banks for a variety of reasons. Our food pantry hours are from Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm. We will serve any low-income client when they come in so they will have enough food to last them a few days until they can make other arrangements. All we ask is that we see a piece of positive ID. In addition to giving them food, we also provide clients with a list of the other food banks in the area with their locations, hours and contact information. Depending on household size, our food bags usually consist of canned and dried goods - bagged cereal, oatmeal packets, canned meats, vegetables, tomato products, chili, beans, tuna, spaghetti, pasta mixes, rice mixes, canned fruit, boxes of macaroni and cheese. We also have bread available each day. We serve clients from Black Diamond, Ravensdale, Green River Gorge, Green Valley, Maple Valley, Covington, Enumclaw, and the Auburn-Black Diamond Road area. |
