Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

Time: 6:30PM ~ 8:30PM
The Black Diamond Fire Department gives Santa a ride to the Black Diamond Community Center on the Fire Engine! Come meet Santa Claus and bring your camera for a picture with him! Local musician Stan Terrell will lead caroling at 6:30pm, Santa lights the tree at 7pm, and will be available for pictures afterward. Cookies and hot cocoa will served for your enjoyment. Parents: don't forget to bring your cameras!

Merry Christmas to all senior citizens in the greater Black Diamond area! The Black Diamond Dancers will perform at 10:30AM, and local jazz musicians Doug Ostgard & Steve Allen will be wooing the crowd at 11AM. A fabulous Prime Rib Dinner will be served at 12 PM noon. Seniors may bring a gift for the gift exchange, no more than a $10 value, and marked "male" or "female." Tickets must be purchased in advance for only $5, by calling 360-886-1011 or stopping by the center M-F 8AM~4:30PM, at 31605 Third Ave (SR 169) in Black Diamond.

Share the Joy!
Our gift-giving program serves about 150 youth each year from low-income families from Black Diamond, Ravensdale, Cumberland and the Green River Gorge, children who would otherwise not have anything on Christmas morning, when many others are jumping up with joy.
